Proposed Location for Primary Processing Centres (PPCs)

 

The proposed locations for Primary Processing Centers are as follows:

  • Sonamura
  • Hrishyamukh
  • Chandipur
  • Manu
  • Bhudjungnagar

The prime factors, which have been taken into consideration for selecting the locations of PPCs within the zone of Influence, are as follows:

  • PPCs are located in such a way so as to ensure uniform distribution of area of operation as this will balance the collection of raw materials.
  • PPCs are located in areas commanding adequate availability of processable surplus of raw materials.
  • Placement of PPCs is such that they are accessible to collection centers.
  • The selected locations are having proper road connectivity.
  • PPCs would be located in plain level lands only.
